A generation may well remember their first trip abroad on a Boeing aircraft with the iconic blue & white Pan Am Globe logo gracing the tail fin. The Pan Am logo for many signified the dawn of a new era: The Jet Age.
This numbered, limited edition collectible bottle opener is crafted from the Boeing 707 tail section of Pan Am N880PA, acquired by Tokens in 2008. The section used features the blue & white areas of the iconic globe logo.
The globe logo art was used by Pan Am from 1957 till 1991.
The clean, modern look is achieved by cutting the tail fin aluminum into strips and mounting to a cherry wood handle which is engraved "Pan Am Boeing 707 Tail Fin Globe" along with the number in this limited series.
Available material will result in a total of 707 bottle openers in blue and 208 in blue/white (position of white stripe varies). Material also may also have some "wear and tear" due to use and age.
Officially licensed by Pan Am, each bottle opener comes gift-boxed with a Certificate of Authenticity.
