This plane was fit for kings from the start. It was built in 1983 as JY-HKJ and served as the private jet for the King of Jordan and the Jordanian Government. In late 2001, it was purchased by Al Anwa Aviation to fly Prince Abdul Aziz Al Ibrahim and was reregistered as HZ-AB1. The Prince, known as a globe-trotter in pursuit of pleasure, had the interior and exterior renovated, transforming the plane into a majestic, flying palace. AB1 was furnished with everything needed to provide the Prince and his guests with the comfort and extravagance they were accustomed to.
